Pankaj Manglik, President and CEO

Pankaj Manglik is President and CEO of Proxim Wireless (Nasdaq: PRXM). Proxim is a manufacturer of Wireless LAN (WLAN), Wi-Fi Mesh, WiMAX and Wireless Backhaul products with a global sales footprint and annual revenues of about $65M.

Prior to Proxim, Pankaj Manglik was co-founder and CEO of Aruba Networks (Nasdaq: ARUN), a worldwide leader in WLANs. Aruba Networks created a new market segment called WLAN Switching. Aruba is funded by Matrix Partners and Sequoia Capital. At Aruba, Mr. Manglik raised two rounds of funding, built out the entire team including a worldwide sales force and took the company from inception to early revenues.

Previously, Mr. Manglik held senior management positions at Alteon WebSystems, which went public and was acquired by Nortel Networks. As Director of Product Management, he defined a new market segment called Web Switching. Prior to that, Mr. Manglik directed the marketing of Cisco's StrataCom IGX multi-service switching platform increasing revenues to $400M per year. Previously, Mr. Manglik ran Intel's network engineering & design organization, being promoted 3 times in 4 years.

Mr. Manglik holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, in addition to Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science.


Tom Twerdahl, Interim CFO

Tom Twerdahl is Proxim's interim Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for Proxim's worldwide financial operations. Mr. Twerdahl has over 20 years of experience and has been the Corporate Controller for Proxim since February 2007. Prior to Proxim Wireless, he held positions as Corporate Controller for Adept Technology, a leading worldwide manufacturer of vision-guided robotics equipment, and as Director of Finance for Philips Medical Systems, a world leader in diagnostic medical systems. He has also held senior financial management positions at 3Com Corporation, National Semiconductor, and Applied Materials. Mr. Twerdahl has a B.S. in Accounting from San Jose State University and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara.


David L. Renauld, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, and Secretary

David L. Renauld has been Vice President, Legal and Corporate Affairs and Secretary since November 1999. From January 1997 to November 1999, he was an attorney with Mirick, O'Connell, DeMallie & Lougee, LLP, a law firm in Worcester, Massachusetts. From September 1991 to December 1996, he was an attorney with Richards, Layton & Finger; a law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Renauld holds a B.A. in mathematics/arts from Siena College and a J.D. from Cornell University.


Lionel Chmilewsky, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Lionel Chmilewsky is Executive Vice President, Sales, at Proxim Wireless Corporation. Mr. Chmilewsky is responsible for driving the company's sales strategy and execution around the globe. Mr. Chmilewsky brings to Proxim more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications, both on the wireless side and on the fixed infrastructure side. Before joining Proxim, Mr. Chmilewsky was Managing Director EMEA for EXFO, a leader in supervision and test equipment for the fiber optic industry. Prior to his responsibilities at EXFO, he held various management positions at Alcatel, where he spent 10 years both for the Mobile Communications Group and for the Fixed Communications Group. Mr.Chmilewsky holds an M.B.A. degree from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Rouen in France.


Gabriel Hebert, Vice President, Global Operations and Support

Gabriel Hebert is Proxim's Vice President of Global Operations and Support. Mr. Hebert is responsible for Proxim's worldwide manufacturing, supply chain, and customer support operations. Prior to Proxim, Mr. Hebert held executive operations positions at Pay By Touch, Rhapsody Networks (acquired by Brocade), CoSine Communications, and MaxStrat (acquired by Sun Microsystems). Mr. Hebert holds a B.A. degree in Business Management from Saint Mary's College, and a CPIM from APICS.


Geoffrey L. Smith, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Geoff Smith is Proxim's Vice President, Marketing and Business Development. Mr. Smith is responsible for defining the product roadmap, positioning the products in the right markets and channels, lead generation and developing strategic relationships with Service Providers. In previous roles at Proxim Mr. Smith has been responsible for R&D and manufacturing test. Mr. Smith has over 24 years experience in the communications field and, prior to joining Proxim in 2002, held senior management positions at AT&T, Lucent and Agere Systems. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University and attended Rutgers University Masters of Science program specializing in digital signal processing


Kishore Gandham, Managing Director, Proxim India Development Center

Kishore Gandham is the Managing Director for the Proxim India Development Center. Mr. Gandham relocated from Silicon Valley in 2007 to Hyderabad, India to setup an engineering design center for Proxim. Under Mr. Gandham's direction the design center has grown in size to greater than 40 highly qualified professionals. Mr.Gandham brings to Proxim 13 years of experience in broadband networking domains including 802.11 LAN & WAN, Wireless point-to-multipoint and backhaul, seamless mobility, DSL, Frame Relay and ISDN communications. Mr. Gandham began his career as a Member of Technical Staff at Racal Datacom and held PLM and Technical Manager positions at Lucent and Agere. Mr.Gandham holds a MS in Computer Engineering from Florida International University.
